Urban Greeners believes that greener, more sustainable cities benefit everyone. So they campaign for new ways of thinking and doing things by bringing together the brightest entrepreneurial minds, that are yet to be conditioned by the old ways, and giving them a platform through which to explore their ideas.
We were asked to create an animation to excite people about their first green spot: the island of Utopia in Almere. Located on the future site of Floriade Almere 2022, it is the world's largest expo in the field of agriculture, horticulture and urban development.
It needed a strong visual identity that would attract attention of the next generation of change-makers and educate everyone about their mission.
We built them an immersive 3D world that grew organically over time to illustrate the evolution of a sustainable, green space.
